To support the vision of our church by leading ministries that inspire young adults to become lifelong disciples of Jesus.
Key Responsibilities
Small Groups
- Collaborate with the Groups Pastor to ensure young adults are regularly connected in life-giving small groups.
- Launch new groups by recruiting and equipping leaders, fostering relational connections, and providing ongoing support for young adult group leaders.
Services and Gatherings
- Plan and lead weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly young adult-focused services featuring worship, relevant biblical teaching, and relational connection opportunities.
- Build and lead a volunteer team to support worship, hospitality, and logistics for regular gatherings and meetups.
Retreats and Missions
- Organize at least one annual retreat for young adults to deepen community and spiritual growth.
- Champion and lead one mission trip per year specifically focused on young adult participation and discipleship.
Church Integration
- Actively engage young adults in the broader life of the church, encouraging involvement in various ministries and fostering intergenerational connection.
- Collaborate with other pastors to ensure young adults are visible and valued contributors throughout the church community.
Pastoral Care
- Serve as the primary point of contact for pastoral care and counseling needs related to young adults.
General Staff Responsibilities
- As part of the church staff, be prepared to serve the broader church body through activities such as visitation, prayer, training, and support of other ministries and events, as directed by your reporting manager.
Team Culture and Alignment
You are expected to be familiar with and to actively promote the vision, values, policies, and procedures of our church. A flexible, positive, and team-oriented attitude is essential as you partner with staff and volunteers.
